Get to your table on time - and you'll get extra starting chips - FREE! |

As many may have noticed, it's been getting hard to get the tournaments underway on time, lately. |
| |
To encourage all members to be in their seats in time for the scheduled commencement of the tournaments, we're handing out extra starting chips to those who make it. |
| |
All tournaments will start at the alotted times - THOSE WHO COME LATE WILL NOT RECEIVE EXTRA CHIPS and will find that their chips have been subject to the blinds. |

The extra chips will be allocated according to the size of original stacking stacks follows... |

11,000 chips or less - 1,000 extra

12,000 chips or more = 2,000 extra |

There are lots of tournament vouchers to be won! |
| |
Look for the fish hiding in your BiG SLiCK Newsletters and you could win a free tournament entry worth anything from £10 right up to £100. |

As soon as you spot the hidden fish's name, reply to the email and your name will be put into the draw. |

Sometimes, there will be a lot of vouchers to be won - sometimes only one - and sometimes there'll be none. |

Sometimes, we will tell you that there is a fish lurking in the text - sometimes we won't - so remain vigilant. |

Sometimes, the fish will be very easy to find - sometimes, we'll make it a bit trickier. |

Those arriving late should be aware that we reserve the right to give their seats away to people on the reserve list who are already in the club. This very much applies to the Friday tournaments. |

Many members have complained about the evening tournaments starting late. The main reason for this has been that a lot members fail to turn up on time and the tournaments are being held up waiting for them to arrive. The Management Committee feels that this is unfair on those who make it on time and has therefore decided that something has to be be done. |

ALL tournaments will start at the scheduled time, which in most cases is 8.30pm. At this time, play will commence and all chips will be on the table and subject to the blinds. NO EXCEPTIONS will be made to this rule. |

In addition to the strict implementation of the scheduled start times, it has also been decided that any players failing to take their seats in Rebuy Tournaments before the end of the second level will pay double the normal registration fee. (For example - anyone faling to arrive before the end of the second level for a £10 Rebuy will pay £20 to register). NO EXCEPTIONS will be made to this rule. |

For those new to the cash game and those who prefer to play for lower stakes, The Big Slick Players Club is introducing a new lower limit cash game. The structure is Pot Limit Texas hold'em, with a minimum sit down of £25 and a maximum of £50. The blinds will be £1 - £1.
All games will be dealer-dealt. |
