Former Poker League Champion Mike Thomas enhanced his chances of winning a trip to Amsterdam, by picking up double points, after winning Saturday's £60 FreezeOut. He also bagged a cash prize of £590 along with a Main Event ticket worth £200. Neil Fox settled for second place and £800. Mike Taffe ran out third for £320.

Denzil Brown won £730 prize money, placing first in last night's £30 Semi-Freezeout. Aaron Gordon came in second, bagging £395 and Terry Crowther took home £220, coming in third.

Gary Matthews and Chris Peak split the top prize money from last night's £40 Freezeout, taking home £485 each. Simon Zaki placed third, bagging himself £190 cash.

Russell Parsons snatched a win at last night's £20+£20 Semi-Freezeout, bagging £600 and those all important points that move him closer to the league top 54. Solomon Omoregie took second place and the £350 prize money that went with it and Chris Ward scooped third, taking home £300.

Craig Sidders won Wednesday night's £5 Monster Rebuy, landing himself the £500 guaranteed prize money. Lee Green slipped into second place, taking home £300 and Chris Payne held on for third, bagging himself £160 cash.

Regular Nick Cavaday won the Royal Flush Jackpot last night, taking home the £1,730 prize pool. Engin Cosar won the £30+£10 Bounty Freezeout, scooping £520 prize money. Simon Miller snatched the £280 prize for second place and Claudio Devito landed third, winning £150 cash.

Andriena Nutt won last night's £40 Freezeout, taking home £900 prize money and securing herself a place at September 11th's £20,000 GPP Main Event. Dave Penly took second place and the £600 that went with it and Richard Dawson bagged himself £330, placing third.

Robbie Moubert won last night's £60 Deep-Stack Freezeout, bagging himself £1,200 cash, double league points and a ticket worth £200 for September's Main Event. Duncan Meyer took second place, winning £800 prize money and Billie Chattaway won £450, placing third.

David Cheung snatched a win at last night's £30 Semi-Freezeout, taking home £750 cash and securing his strong position on the poker league leader board. Garry Fluen took second place, winning £450 prize money and Kane Power placed third, bagging himself £380.

Mayur 'Panda' Patel won Saturday's £100 FreezeOut, bagging £900 in cash along with £200 ticket for our next Main Event scheduled for FRIDAY 11th September when the guaranteed prize money will be £20,000. Winner Paul Rodger and runner-up Scott Foley shared a prize worth over twelve hundred pounds last night at the end of Friday's £40 Deep-Stack FreezeOut. Paul claimed £660 in cash along with maximum poker league points. Scott settled for £350 in cash along with a Main Event ticket worth £200. Both Paul and Karim are going well in the Amsterdam league, but with a long way to go there will be plenty of opportunities for others to secure their places at the Play-Off tables. Angelo Milioto took down Tuesday's poker tournie, picking up a handy £600 in cash for his efforts, along with maximum Amsterdam League points, keeping him riding high in the table and well set for a seat at the play-off. Kos Charalambous came second to take £310. Kos is another going well in the league, sitting at the number 26 spot - but nothing is certain and with plenty of time to go and a whole bunch of players just outside the 'Cut-Off' all is till to play for. Derek Power ran out third for £200.

Steve Birch won Wednesday night's poker tournament, picking up a first prize of £370. Michael Rooney came second to take £200. 3rd-Placed Mark Atwell bagged £100.

The top four finishers in Thursday's poker tournie cut a deal for £200 each, before playing on for the rest of the cash. Eventual winner Byron Dewsbury took the first prize of £410, along with maximum poker league points. Robbie Moubert took second place and £200. Robbie is currently riding high in the Amsterdam league table in the no12 spot. Another high-flyer Paul Rodger came third for his £200 - Paul is sitting 13th in the league and well on his way to a seat at the table in the play-off and a crack at that first prize of a trip for two to Amsterdam and entry into the Master Classics of Poker at the Holland Casino.

In the space of just four days Angelo Milioto has won two tournaments and scooped £1,360 in cash. Having already won £600 on Tuesday, he won the second last night, picking up a further £760. Angelo's winning streak is not only paying for the groceries right now, but is also piling on the league points for him and keeping his challange for the number one spot very much alive. Second-placed in Friday's game was Erdim Koz who bagged £410, whilst Paul Hackshall in the number three spot claimed £250.

An unusually quiet night at the Slick produced a change of tournament from the one scheduled. A single table played for the prize money, with the honours and £300 in cash going to Paul Batchelor. Runner-up Kieran McNulty bagged £100.. Angelo Miliot kept up his pressure on at the top of the Amsterdan League, by picking yet more finaltable points.

Darren Illott won last night's poker tournie, picking up a first prize of £775. Chris A.Rose came second to take £390. Third spot and £220 cash was claimed by Alex Jackson-Palin.

Our last tournament of the summer turned into a great night of live poker, attracting 80 runners and producing a prize pool in excess of £3,000. Mark Ruffle took the honours along maximum Amsterdam League points and a first prize worth of £900 plus a £200 ticket for the upcoming Main Event scheduled for Friday 11th September when once again the guaranteed prize money will be a massive £20,000.
