Matt Illingworth won Thursday's bounty tournament, taking a first prize of £520 along with maximum Xmas League points. John Lane came second to bag £270. Third-placed Samir picked up £120.

Top finishers Sami Gadd and Adam Shield shared the top prize money at the end of Friday's poker tournament - each settling for £555. Third-placed John Mac picked up £220.

Over 70 runners piled into the Purley club for Saturday's El Nino £50 Deep-Stack FreezeOut, making for a classic night of live poker action and blowing away the three grand guarantee. After a 3-way deal for the bulk of the prize money, Paul Batchelor went on to win a £200 ticket for our next Main Event, which is set for Saturday 5th February 2010 when the guaranteed prize pool wil be a whopping £20,000.
Last night's runners-up Annie Henderson and Darren Matlock each settled for £595 cash.

Gentleman Altan Mourat won last night's poker tournament, picking up £610 in cash along with maximum Xmas League points. Altan is currently riding high in the league at number 13 and well on course for a shot at the great prizes on offer to the winner of the Freeroll scheduled for Saturday 19th December. Guy Duggan made it into third spot to pick up £305.

Aaron Gordon and Kirit Patel shared £2,424 in prize money at the end of Monday's £100 freezeout - with Aaron taking the ticket for our next Main Event scheduled for Friday 5th February 2010 along with maximum Xmas League points. Aaron is currently in 46th place in the table, just inside the Play-Off zone. League leader Jeremy Brown came third last night, picking up a handy £625.

Lee Green took down Tuesday's poker tournie, picking up £500 in cash along with maximum Xmas League points. Simon Hay came second top bag £300. Paul Romain ran out thrid for £200.

Former Darts Champion of the World Andy Fordham was guest of the club last night, signing copies of his new book and playing in our Wednesday poker tournament.
The tournament was won by Jerome Bennet who picked up maximum Xmas League points and £480 in cash. Paul Batchelor came second to bag £230. Dave 'Porno' Monkton came third to grab £135.

There was a bit of a carve-up all round at the end of Thursday's poker tournie, resulting in winner Desmond DeArujo taking £200 in cash along with maximum Xmas League points. The next four places carved up the rest of the prize money.

Xmas League leader Jeremy Brown and Anon shared the top prize money at the end of last night's £40 FreezeOut - each picking up a useful £495. David 'The Master' Cheung came third to bag £200.
With just 7 days of the league to run, Jeremy seems to have the championship pretty much wrapped up - but most of the other 53 places are still very much up for grabs with only 200pts separating 25th & 70th places - and there are over 30 places around the cut-off separated by just 100 points. With a week to go and two more opportiunities to gain triple points - Saturday 12th Super-75 and Friday 18th BACK-to-the-REBUY - there's no telling who the final 54 will be.
The FREEROLL is set for Saturday 19th. There will be a 30min clock and a structure to ensure a really great night of tournament poker - with some fantastic prizes for the winner. Maybe you will be the one watching James Bond on Christmas Day on you're new 40in Sony Bravia HD TV, whilst lazily flicking through you're 2010 diary deciding how you are going to use your new BiG SLiCK Season Ticket.

A large field of runners boosted the prize pool to over £5,000 for December's Super-75 Double-Chance FreezeOut. After cutting a deal with runner-up Gordon Darroch, Johnel Bracey won the tournament, picking up £1,350 in cash, a Main Event ticket worth £200 and triple Xmas League points. Gordon took £1,350 in cash, whilst third-placed Faisal Bhatti grabbed £700.

Kos and Steve Townsend split the prizemoney at the end of Sunday's poker tournie - each settling for £390 cash. 3rd-Placed Jafer Ararm won £155.

Top finishers Jason Clarke and Anon carved up the prize at the end of Monday night's £40 FreezeOut - each settling for £505 cash. Chris Chaplin came third to take £180.

Tuesday's poker tournament finished with a deal between the first three places with Andy Butcher taking the number one spot and £320 in prize money. Runners-up George Andreas and Faizal Bhatti each settled for £300.

Jaffer Araim won Thursday's poker tournament, picking up £370 in prize money aklong with maximum Xmas League points. Phil Araim came second to bag £280. Mike 'Lanzarote' Kossov made third spot for £100.

The threat of snow and the icy winds seemed to keep many away from last night's poker tournament, leaving a shortfall in the guaranteed prize money which was made up in full by the club. Those who did play benefited from the huge extra value and enjoyed a great night of poker fun.
At the end of it all, a massive deal was cut, involving the top five places who each settled for £608 in cash, Overall first place went to Jay Patel who also won a ticket worth £200 for our next Main Event scheduled for Friday 5th February 2010.
Last night's tournie marked the end of our Xmas League and as well as confirming the position of our new champion Jeremy Brown, also decided who will play in Saturday's FREEROLL and get the chance to win the fabulous prizes up for grabs.
An email will go out to all members Saturday morning naming the qualifiers.
For those of you who didn't make it this time around, our new LEAGUE TWELVE starts Sunday 20th with double points available just to kick-start the race. Final details have yet to be decided upon, but as you'd expect, there'll some super prizes to play for!

Suzanne Gilbert kicked off her Poker League Twelve campaign with a win last night at the end of Tuesday's £30 Semi-FreezeOut, picking up 90 points along with £538 in cash. Andy mack took second spot to bag £277, Daryl Messiah came third for £164.

Unfortunately, due to the bad weather and the resulting chaos on the roads, a lot of our staff have been unable to get to the Purley club tonight. The club is open and we will try to cater for those members that make it. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and hope that you will please bear with us in these trying times.

116 Members braved the ice to make it a bumper night of tournament poker at the BiG SLiCK, Purley, smashing the guarantee. Outright winner Chris A. Rose scooped a cash prize of £1,750 - plus a £200 ticket for our next Main Event scheduled for Friday 5th February 2010 when once again the GPP will be a whopping £20,000 - plus triple League Twelve points. Former champion Chris is our new league leader, but of course there is along way to go. Look out in the new year for news on the fantastic prize we'll have in store for next year's Freeroll winner.
Second last night was Sam MacDonald who bagged £1,225 in cash. Paul Whiteman came third to grab £750.

Zeeshan Khan won our last poker tournament before the Christmas break, picking up £205 in cash. Runners-up Matt Locket and Bhavin Patel each settled for £120.
Our next comp will be on Sunday 27th - a £30 Semi-FreezeOut with Double League Twelve points up for grabs.
Following that, on Monday 28th we are putting up a £3,000 guaranteed prize pool for our HOT-100 Mega-Deep-Stack FreezeOut.

Against a field of 60 runners, top finishers Adam Shield and Chris Scott split the top prize money at the end of Wednesday's £25 FreezeOut. Adam took overall first place, picking up maximum League Twelve points and £550 in cash. Second-placed Chris cashed for £400. Tariq Sigani came third to bag £200.
