| Paul Rodger won again last night, taking first place in Saturday's £50 Deep-Stack FreezeOut. It's been a good weekend for Paul who has picked up a total of £1,550 in cash along with a whole bunch of Super League points. After a slowish start, these wins have catapulted Paul to within just a few points of the play-off zone. Later in the year, the top 54 in the table will battle it out for a trip for two to Las Vegas and entry into a WSOP event. In second place last night was Suzzanne Gilbert who bagged £600. The Master David Cheung came third for £100. David is currently lying in second place in the Super league table. |

| Did we say 'On A Roll'? The guy's on fire! Chalking up three wins five days, Paul Rodger has bagged a total haul of £2,300 cash for himself, not to mention a fistful of Super League points (110 by our reckoning) which will have taken him from just outside the play-off zone to some way inside it. With several months to go, there's still time for other players to haul themselves into the top 54 and give themselves a shot at the Las Vegas prize. Second last niight for £380 was James Comer who currently rides half way up the play-off zone. Chris A. Rose made it into third spot for £150. Chris is riding very high in the league; currently eighth in the table and well on target for the freeroll. |

A briiliant poker tournament that had started early Saturday evening with eighty hopefuls sitting shoulder-to-shoulder, waiting for the 'magic' words shuffle-up and deal, finally came to and end over 24 hours later when the three men still standing agreed upon a share in £12,000 prize money. First position and £4,000 went to BiG SLiCK legend and 'blessed amphibiam' Angelo K. Second spot went to Lee Burgess who had qualified for the event through a super satellite and turned £40 into £4,000. Third place was claimed by Jay Patel, achieving remarkable 'back-to-back' victories in this event and and adding £4,000 to the £5,000 he won last November. Well done guys! |
