Eats Shoots & Poker Players

No doubts about the winner of Monday's poker tournament. There were no deals and no carve-ups, as the marauding monochromatic marvel that is Panda Patel ruthlessley tore down the opposition on his way to a first prize of £570 cash and maximum Super League points. The Panda is currently riding at number 21 spot in the league and well on the way to a place in the Vegas Shoot-Out. This is an official warning - Panda Alert! !
Second last night was Samir El Husseini; he picked up £300. Samir is currrently 36th in the league and well inside the play-off zone. Altan Mourat ran in third to take £190 - he is sitting near the top of the table in 9th place with 435pts.
With only 50pts separating places 54 to 81 - it'is still all to play for.
