Angelo Milioto's charge for the league title is still very much in progress. Last night, he yet again, notched up maximum points, after another tournament win. At the end of the evening, the top three finishers decided upon a carve up of the prize money with each settling for £350 cash.

The top three finishers at the end of laast night's poker tournie split the money with winner Karim Louis taking £240 and runners-up Steve Chaplin and James Elliott each settling for £190. Karim is currrently riding high in the Amsterdam League, nicely on course for a seat at the play-off.

Last night's super-sat ellite produced four tickets for next week's Main Event. Anthony Allnutt, Luke Bagwell, Del Power and Angelo Milioto will all get a crack at the £7,500 guranteed first prize on Friday 11th. Those who have not already booked or qualified for our BiG One will get another chance to win a ticket next Thursday 10th September.

The top four finishers at the end of Friday's poker tournament carved up the prize money - each settling for £385. Lee Green took first place, along with a ticket for next Friday's Main Event and maximum Amsterdam League points.

After taking first place at last nights deep-stack poker tournament, Barry McGirr became the latest member to book his seat at the tables for next Friday's Main Event when the guaranteed first prize will be a minimum of £7,500. Ibby Volkan came second; Philip Leshirley was third.

The top for finishers at the end of Sunday's poker tournament carved-up the prize money -with David 'The Master' Cheung, Gary Matthews, Tony Mayers and Hannah Richings each settling for £355. The Master took maximum Amsterdam League points, in his continuing tussle at the top of the table with Angelo Milioto.

Winners J-Stars, Babs Oleneye and Jermaine Wynter shared the bulk of the prize money at the end of Monday's deep-stack freezeout with J-Stars taking maximum Amsterdam league points (keeping him riding very high in the table) along with £500 in cash, whilst and Babs and Jermaine each settling fo £490.

Phil Butt won Tuesday's £20+£20 poker tournament, picking up maximum Amsterdam Leahue points along with £550 in cash. Steve Chaplin came second to bag £320; Sally Smith third for £160. Both Steve (21st) and Sally (30th) are going well in the league and on target for the play-off. Front-runners Angelo Milioto and David 'The Master' Cheung both kept up their challange for the title in what's looks like being a neck-and-neck race to the line.

Wiinners Radu Nazar and Steve Georgiou shared the top prize moneyatthe nd of last night's poker tournie - eachsettling for £232.50. Joe Chattaway ran out third for £20.

Last night's super-satellite produced eight more tickets for Friday's Main Event. The BiG One kicks off at 8.00 Friday 11th and once again theguaranteed prize pool will be a whopping £20,000. If you haven't yet booked your seat, you'll get another chance this Friday afternoon. The club will be opening at 4.00pm for single table satellites - so why not come along early and give yourself a chance to snatch that £7,5000 first prize.

The top four places at the end of Saturday's £40 Deep-Stack FreezeOut shared out the bulk of the prize money with declared winner Alan Davidson taking £400 in cash. Second-placed Steve Johnson scooped £350, whilst runners-up Darren May and Chris Ward each netted £300.

Steve Chaplin made the top two for a second time this week, carving up the prize pool for last night's £30 Semi-Freezeout with Gary Matthews and taking home £470. Paul Johnson snatched third place and the £200 cash that went with it.

Another four-way split saw Doug Alley, John Lane, Alan Davidson and Ahmed Aram, the top four in Monday night's £40 Deep-Stack, split the prize pool to bag themselves £490 of the prize money each.

Hannah Richings and Kane Power split the top prize for Tuesday night's £20+£20 Semi-Freezeout with Hannah taking the league points that secure her place in the top 5 and them both taking home £380 cash each. Angelo Milioto snatched third place and the £300 prize money that went along with it.

The Destroyer won last night's £5 Monster Rebuy, snatching prize money of £450 and securing himself the top league points. Jamie Hackshall held on for second place, taking home £150 cash, and Stell and Steve Chaplin each won £50 for their efforts, coming in third and fourth.

Danny Cormack snatched a win in last night's £30+£10 Bounty Freezeout, bagging himself £430 prize money. Yus Cosar came in second place, winning £350 and Kane Power made his second top three appearance this week, placing third and taking home £200 cash.

Chas Brook won last night's £40 Freezeout, bagging himself £660 prize money and the top league points. John Toddman and Steve Johnson split the prize money for second and third place, taking home £405 cash each.

Sami Gad, Paul Rumble, Angelo Milioto and Elliot Dubey carved up the prize pool for Saturday night's £60 Deep-Stack, with Sami and Paul bagging £650 prize money, Angelo and Elliot taking home £500 each and everyone securing double league points.

Last night's £30 Semi-Freezeout was won by Bob Todd, who bagged himself £910 prize money. Suzanne Gilbert took second place, taking away £450 and Sami Gad won £230 cash, landing in third place.

Mark Ruffle and Ibby Vulkan split the prize money from Monday night's £40 Freezeout securing themselves £560 cash each. Mark Ruffle took the top league points and Sami Gad made his third, top three placing in as many days, taking home £200 for his efforts.

Making it his second win in a week, The Destroyer bagged last night's first prize of £540 cash along with maximum Amsterdam League points. Gary Fluen came second to take £290 and more useful points - Gary is currently in 16th place in the league and well on the way to a place at the play-off. Terry Crowther ran out third for £170.

£500 was not a bad return on his money for winner Joe Dunbar who won the first of our Wednesday night £25 FreezeOuts. David 'The Master' Cheung came second to bag £250 along with valuable Amsterdam League points - keeping his struggle at the top of the table with Angelo Milioto very muich alive. Dan Matthews came third for £150.

Steve Greenslade won last night's poker tournament picking up a first prize of £440 in cash along with maximum Amsterdam League points. Paul Batchelor, (currently in 44th place in the table - ten places above the cut-off) - came second and bagged £220. Garry Fluen (15th) came third for £110. Also amongst the points were Almir Druz (86th); Sami Gad (95th); Billy Chattaway (48th) and Gary Matthews (9th).

The top four finishers at the end of Friday's £40 FreezeOut carved up the best part of £1,500 in prize money between them with Annie Henson, Daniel Brown and Matt Carter each taking £380 and fourth-placed Barry Harris settling for £330. The 40pts Dan picked up lift him into 49th place in the league and just inside the play-off zone, whilst the 30pts won by Jermey Brown take him to the 36 spot and on target for a shot at the trip for two to Amsterdam and a seat in the Master Classics of Poker.

Amsterdam Poker League leader Angelo Milioto strengthened his grip on the number one spot at the top of the table, by scoring yet another win at the end of last night's El Nino tournament. 77 Runners runners turned up at the club for the first of this new format, making for a very decent prize pool and some great poker action. In addition to maximum points, Angelo also picked up a handy £850 in cash. Runner-up Sami Gad took £850 in cash along with a Main Event ticket worth £200. 3rd-Placed Ibby Volkan bagged £450.

Luke and Bryan Bagwell carved up the top prize pool for Sunday's £30 Semi-Freezeout, snatching £457 cash each. They also claimed those all important Amsterdam League points, needed to take them one step closer to the top 54. Dave Butters came in third and bagged himself £200 prize money for his efforts.

Jason Clarke scooped a healthy £760 and crucial double league points placing first in Monday night's £40 Deep-Stack. Leon Thomas came in second, bagging £420 and Dave Carter slipped into third, taking home the £250 cash that went with it.

Sam Hart won last night's poker tournie, picking up a first prize of £640. Paul Johnson came second to bag £400. Steve Chaplin ran out third for £220.

The new Wednesday night tournament structure is proving a hit, attracting 61 runners last night and netting a very worthwhile prize pool. Top finishers Sami Gad and Beau Couldrey decided upon a deal at the end of the evening - both settling for £425 in cash - a pretty good return on the £25 investment. Younes Jerdioui ran out third to bag £350.
